Established in April 2014, Siddiq Azani & Co was founded by Mohamad Siddiq Bin Dato’ Mohd Azani. Syariah Law Practice

Our counsel is an Advocate of Syariah Court for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya & Labuan. Our legal practice encompasses a variety of services, including the processing of divorce applications, fasakh, child custody arrangements, and other issues pertaining to marriage disputes. We also focus on matters related to Islamic inheritance, the allocation of estates, and the management of their assets.

Mohamad Siddiq Bin Dato’ Mohd Azani graduated with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Hons from MARA University of Technology (UiTM) in 2011. He later completed his Advanced Diploma in Syariah Law (DLSA) from the same university in 2012 and was called to the Malaysian Bar the same year. He started his own legal practice on 1st of April 2014. In December 2014, he was enrolled as an Advocate of Syariah Court for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya & Labuan.

His area of practice largely in general litigation and dispute resolution. He has appeared in various litigated cases involving commercial disputes, defamation, land matters, debt recovery & bankruptcy, unlawful dismissal in employment cases, medical & professional negligence as well as construction disputes. Alongside his civil law practice, Siddiq is skilled in Syariah Law and provides advice to clients regarding Faraid, Hibah, and Wasiat. He has considerable experience in handling the inheritance and distribution of estates for Muslims and Non-Muslims throughout Malaysia.

Between 2021 and 2022, he served as a Special Functions Officer to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Malaysia, advising matters related to ASEAN, human rights and international law.

Mohd Fadhli Yahya

Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya

Mohd Fadhli Bin Yahya heads the Litigation & Conveyancing Department of the Firm. He graduated with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Hons from MARA University of Technology (UiTM) in 2011 and Advanced Diploma in Syariah Law (DLSA) in 2013. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2012 and has significant experience in the fields of Banking and Finance, offering guidance to various major banking institutions in Malaysia on issues related to loan restructuring and financing.

Armed with extensive knowledge in conveyancing and litigation, Fadhli engages in general litigation and has dealt with a variety of disputes, such as corporate litigation, land disputes, defamation, commercial claims, debt recovery and bankruptcy.

Fadhli’s expertise includes advising clients on Probate & Administration and Inheritance. He became a Partner at Siddiq Azani & Co in 2015 after working as a Legal Associate & Senior Legal Associate in three notable law firms.
